School Background

        Founded in 1924 by the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary Schools. With the inspiration of Saint Katherine Drexel, Saint Charles Borromeo School teaches over 490 students from kindergarten through eighth grade.

  98% of our students are African American and 2% of our students are Latino.

  53% of our student body is female and 47% of the student body is male.

  80% of our students are non-Catholic and 20% are Catholic.

  75% of our students come from single parent households.

  88% of our students are eligible for free or reduced lunch program.
