Library Program and Literacy

        As part of a grant program called Library Connections, St. Charles Borromeo School is upgrading its library program and collection.  Library Connections will help the school integrate Library work with classroom curriculum and activities, use by students and teachers.

        The Library Connections Program will provide the school with a modern state of the art library.  It will supply the library with current curriculum-relevant information resources-print, audiovisual, and online-that support collaborative lesson planning and instruction.  It will also provide all necessary hardware-tables, chairs, shelving units-to furnish the library.

        St. Charles Borromeo School has hired a full-time librarian who meets the program’s requirements.  However, outside funding is necessary to pay the librarian’s salary.
