After-School Program at St. Charles Borromeo

Our After-school program serves not only the children in our school, but also their parents and community.  Our after-school program often works with various resources to meet two constituents: providing to the children a place to feel safe, relaxed and productive; a supplement and complement to the school experience, with additional activities not offered or stressed in school; opportunities for active play, guided socialization and friendship, enhanced self-image, and the learning of new skills in supportive environment.  It gives their parents a place to leave their children where they are safe and receive caring and imaginative supervision, coupled with a supportive community and a communication network with center staff.
